why on earth did you mention katy perry, schony? you mention a homosexual (i think, right? im not up to date), i dont get the correlation. one thing that upsets me, though, i myself add to it, is that its much more socially acceptable for a woman to be a lesbian/bisexual then it is for a male..

I mentioned it because Katy is one of Adam's (Gay American Idol Runner Up) best friends and she took a lot of slack when she came out on stage with his name on her cape. It's just a double standard. Men think it's okay for hot chicks to be lipstick lesbians, but when your overwhelming majority of women flaunt over a gay guy, we are met with homophobe reactions. I don't like double standards.

She is a good friend of Adam's in real life and supports him as an entertainer/singer/writer/etc . The last B&W photo I had as an avi, was met with as much praise as criticism. I'm sorry. Adam Lambert is the hottest guy I have ever laid my eyes on: gay, straight, bi, or amoeba ;) Seriously? Don't make me post another hot picture of Adam. Howie might have a fucking coronary due his chronic homophobia.

Irony, now you know why you should watch American Idol ;)

Come to the dark side

schony im going to have to agree with ya here, the double standard is ridiculous. you can't have am lam as an avy, but if anyone took a picture from ETC's "thong of the day" thread, it would be a celebration by every man on here. don't get me wrong, i love a good chick in a thong, but i just have to agree that the double standard on here is crazy.

pleasure is in the groin of the beholder...or, something like that.

my genitalia responds to whatever it responds to, and won't take advice from anyone.

convention requires consenting adults - i can conform to that...

all else is all else. and i can't be made to care, either way.

simple enuff. :D

Schony, just to clarify, when I commented on your avatar I didn't even know who that guy was or that he was gay. I didn't mean it to be homophobic...the avatar just sort of creeped me out. ;)

But I totally get what you're saying the with the double standard, when it comes to men's fantasies of lesbian women, and then how they feel toward gay men. It's a can of worms that I don't want to open, but I feel pretty passionate about it because my best friend is gay and I've seen the double standard so many times over the years of being friends with him and being involved in the "gay scene". Sometimes it sucks because I can see when things truly hurt him, and while I'm there for him as a friend, it's hard for me to relate...because well, I'm not a gay man.

I thought those pics of Glambert and that hot chick were...well, hot, Schony.

And Mike, you raise a great point about women being accepted/encouraged/glamorized in regards to bisexual behavior, whereas men are not. I might be a small minority, but I find nothing wrong with men acting out on same-sex urges. Equal opportunity dabbling is perfectly fine, and men shouldn't be looked down upon for the same thoughts that women are celebrated for acting upon.

While we're on the subject :D My oldest son just started dating a girl a few weeks ago who is artsy-fartsy and into the Allentown scene. She likes the metrosexual thing, expensive wine bars, has a 4 year degree in English, is well spoken and respected and attends poetry coffee shop stuff etc.. Any local would know that this area of Buffalo is predominantly gay. So anyway ;) She takes my son down there and he's as clueless as a dumbfuck.

As they were walking down the street, some dude comes up to my son and asks if he can lick his shoes. The gf is laughing hysterically because she has seen the dude on many occasions. Son is laughing because he thinks it's a joke until he realizes the dude is serious. Gf is laughing even harder at sons reaction. The dude is well known in Allentown and is obviously known as "The shoe licker." It's actually a compliment to be approached by the shoe licker. It means your hot ;)

And yes. He truly does lick your shoe if you let him.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming :D
