so im coming up with a plan to do a drawn collage of the Sabres in a similar manner to my montreal one:

i love this guys work.

anyway, im looking for advice as to who to have on it. the basic set up is this:

its will be horizontal in either 1 or 2 pieces (depending on how big i want to go) with the Aud on one side and HSBC on the other with players from each "era" on their respective sides. In the corners i plan on putting 4 goalies. two of them i know for sure, the second 2 im not so sure about. anyway, heres who ive come up with thus far.

Goalies: Miller and Hasek. for the other ones, im looking for "older" goalies like Barrasso, Edwards, etc.

Aud: Perrault, Martin, Robert, Korab, Horton, Mogilny, Housley

HSBC: Vanek, Roy, Pomminville, Gaustad, Max, Campbell, maybe Brier and Drury

and i dont know where to put LaFontaine, Ray, May, Barnaby and Biron.




so what do you guys think? any suggestions?

i originally tried doing that with montreal, but when i tried adding digital elements to make it easier (like the stanley cup wins in the background) it didnt mesh well with the color pencil/watercolor. for this one though, there wouldnt be any digital stuff. it would look more like this:

I'd have Briere and Drury in there before Max. But I'd also have Grier and Kaleta before those two. A little tribute to Mair and his "office" would be cool. Also Peca I think deserves a spot on there somewhere.
