Sabres have won 3 straight. Before that they lost 2 straight. So they probably will lose tonight because the Sabres are a .500 hockey team who just happens to start seasons strong and finish poorly. I predict Mr. Average at best or Mr. Softee if you prefer will let in at least 1 soft goal and help the Sabres start a losing streak of 3 games. Now, I can hear all your comments now so let me just say I am a Sabres fan. I live in Buffalo, not anywhere in Canada. And I most likely have an IQ higher than you and live in the real world where I don't live my life for Bills and Sabres and don't deny reality to make myself insulated from the truth and the real world.

The reason people keep saying Miller is average is because the stats say he is. You die hards keep ignoring his 5 year career stats and instead forcus in on Miller's 25 games played this year. Yes, Miller is playing awsome this year, no doubt about that. But every goalie has a hot streak here and there. The question is do you really believe that the past 4 years of average stats is really Miller's true ability or are the past 25 games who Miller really is? Anyone who knows hockey and has an IQ above 80 would know that Miller will have to put up awsome numbers for the next 2 or 3 years to become an above average goalie and to help his career stats. Miller should let in a few soft goals tonight as his record in Montreal over the years has been horrible. I also expect the sabres to lose Wednesday to ottawa as Ottawa has owned Miller and the Sabres the past 4 years. The stats don't lie. Miller is an average goaltender. His career stats have him around #15 amoung active goalies in just about every stat. Yes, if you isolate Miller's stats to just this year he is in the top 5 of almost every category but aren't you just misleading yourself by looking at just this year? To be an elite goaltender means you have been awsome for most of your career. So far Miller is average for 4 years and way above average for 3 months this year. Miller still has a long way to go. I think his good play of late is a fluke. MR. SOFTEE!

Miller has proven nothing and accomplished nothing so far in his career. He had an amazing team in front of him in 2005-2006 & 2006-2007 seasons and yet he let the team down and could not help them to get past the 3rd round of the playoffs. During those 2 years, Miller consistenly let in 4 goals a night. The Sabres has to be good at scoring to win because their goaltender couldn't make saves. That is why the Sabres usualy had to get 5 or 6 goals a night to win during those seasons. But come playoff time, Miller really let the team down as Miller did not step up his play. He continued to let in around 4 goals a game. Miller has not even been to a Finals series yet. So cheer for the Sabres all you want. That is fine. But stop be dishonest and proclaiming Miller is some kind of amazing goalie. The only thing you do when you talk like that is make yourself look like a homer and someone who clearly does not understand anything about hockey other than how to purchase your over priced Miller Sabre jersey so you can feel a part of the team that can't make the playoffs year after year!
