Aight guys I have a quick question, So I heard that during Sabres away games that HSBC arena is open to the Public so they can watch the game on the Jumbo Tron and I was wondering if that was true or not, because me and some of my friends will be in Buffalo the night of the 21st, and we are trying to decide if we should go to HSBC arena or to the Anchor Bar or something of the sorts.

I have never heard that the arena is open to the public.

Only in VERY rare and special circumstances. It was open for the Winter Classic, and I think an away playoff game or two a couple years back.

It's not cheap to open that place up just to turn on the jumbotron. :)

yeah...only for away playoff games and the like...not for regular away games.
