Another perfect casting was Kelsey Grammar as Beast in X3.

god himself could not have cast a better Beast.

to think about it, most marvel movies have been well cast.

DC, on the other hand...Halle Berry as Catwoman? *BLECH*

Michelle Pfeiffer was the purrfect silver screen Catwoman.

DC's been kind of hit and miss. most of the Batmans have been great with Keaton and Bale. i think Clooney could have worked if the story was better. Jim Carrey as the Riddler was spot on as were the two Jokers. i didnt like either Two-Face. Brandon Roth as Superman was a fail for me but Kevin Spacey as Luther was amazing.a

i agree with you completely about Berry and Pfeiffer as Catwomans but to be fair, Marvel did cast Jennifer Gardner as Elektra.

normally i would agree with you, but her role in daredevil and its spin off are horrible. she can not play a lethal assassin...at least one that wouldnt say "o im so sorry" after putting a knife in your chest.

i dont think shes just not bad ass enough to play a character like elektra.

Looks great. I liked Iron Man as a comic and as a movie.... I would watch IM2 just to see Mickey Rourke as Whiplash, he has been outstanding since he fucked up his face.

Frasier was Beast?? Wow, that's hilarious, I didn't know that. I might have to watch it again.

Marvel has done an excellant job casting it's movies. However, i'm not sure this streak will continue. Diney has purchased Marvel for $4 billion dollars. I remember reading this in the Buffalo News about a week ago. Paramount, Sony and Fox still have the movie rights for X-Men, Spiderman, Fantastic 4 and the Hulk. Iron Man was produced by Marvel's own studio which as we know have Iron Man 2 coming out, but in 2011 will release Captain America and Thor, and Iron Man 3 in 2012. Fox is working on Wolverine 2 and X-Men Origins: Magneto and Sony is releasing Spiderman 4 also in 2012.

Disney however has access to Marvel's 5000 other, lesser known, characters. I read they may start making cartoons first to grow the popularity of some of these characters prior to jumping in to big pictures. I also read Disney is starting another TV station geared directly to boys.

I just hope that with Disney taking control of Marvel that Stan Lee still will have a say in how his characters are portrayed.

Other Comic books coming to the big screne soon:
The Sub-Mariner
The Green Hornet
Shazam
Luke Cage
The Green Lantern
The Justice League
The Avengers
Solomon Kane
Sin City 2
Clash of the Titans

I know at one time Ryan Reynolds was slated to play The Green Lantern, which would be pretty sweet. He's usually very entertaining.

I like Ryan Reynolds, but would he go from one comic book movie to another (he was in Wolverine)?

One role I would like to see again would be Colin Farrel's Bullseye from Daredevil. The only bright spot from that movie (except maybe Kingpin.)

Yea, I'd love to see Ryan Reynolds as both Hal Jordan and the Merc With A Mouth.
