My Friend's comment

Quote:
It would be something else if LA took 2 professional Buffalo sports franchises.
Apparently Buffalo cares far more about hockey than football (making it a football town) and the economic hardships there are greater than like every other city in America, save for one, so it is unfair to have a football team there taking money from all the poor people with no jobs.
They should have the temptation of wasting hundreds to thousands of dollars on tickets, gas, tail gating, concessions, unleaded fuel, etc taken away to make sure that the city and the inhabitants livelihood and finances can be salvaged. If anything, it will allow for LA people (who I'm sure you despise) to have millions of their dollars (as a collective
whole) wasted, helping lead to their degradation.

My Reply
Stupidity. The reason there aren't two teams there now is that the fan base doesn't support them. West coast fans are apathetic. San Diego has trouble selling out games and they're a GOOD team with, and Los Angeles thinks it will have no trouble sellout out TWO teams, taking from that list where most of those teams suck and don’t have a marketable superstar?

The only things that make sense are moving ONE of either the Jaguars or Chargers. The Jaguars can't even sell out with tarped seats, and are odd man out in a team already saturated with football. San Diego is down there anyways, so you're only inconveniencing their fans somewhat, and they too have trouble selling out.

The Bills generate tons of revenue for the city. Moving them is not a financial solution.

And LA didn’t take the Braves.

There was a comment on ESPN saying that as long as it's not the L.A. Bills I'll be happy. I agree, but I don't want to see any teams moved. Maybe created because I think Football is starting to become more and more competitive for teams with intelligent owners. (not counting the 3 worst oakland, rams, lions or the 3 best, pats, colts, steelers)

The firm has said the teams are in stadiums that are either too small or can't be updated with luxury box seats or other revenue sources an NFL club needs to thrive.

Wait, so 73,000 seats is not enough? You're only going to build 2,000 more, and The Ralph was updated with more luxury seating and stuff only about 15 years ago.

Jacksonville is the logical team. They will not be able to survive where they are.

The only football this town cares about is:
USC
UCLA
.
.
.
.
.
Raiders
.
.
.
Chargers

I have a feeling not a lot of folks would get too excited about the "L.A. Bills" around here.

Move the Rams there...but honestly, they'll probably end up moving again anyway.

the braves became the LOS ANGELES Clippers. so yes, if for some reason or another, the Bills move to LA, they would have taken 2 buffalo teams.

Essentially you're right, San Diego might have had them first, but they are ultimately in LA now, which originated as a Buffalo franchise.

still. they wernt moved to san diego as a temporary spot. so LA didnt steal the braves. and from the sounds of it, the buffalo fans didnt support the braves at all.
