Found someone to take my shift tomorrow. It's a girl who was has been requesting more hours because my manager has been scheduling only one shift a week lately, after she's been getting 4-5 in the past.

Soooo, my manager knew I couldn't work Friday, yet scheduled me anyways. And he gave a girl who has been requesting more shifts Friday off. Yeah, makes sense. Whatever though...just glad I found someone to cover my shift.

The fact that one day a girl tells me how great I am and how happy I've made her during a tough time in her life and then 2 days later tells me via text message that she can't deal with me anymore and thus wants to break up with me. So, despite the fact we had something special and she made my feelings go all crazy like (in a good way) and she claims she felt the same and told me how I made her happy when everything else wasn't great, she just decides that I am suddenly a problem and a burden and she must get rid of me. And, after all that, after I listened to her problems and tired to help her anyway I could, she never asked me how I felt after she broke it off, she never made sure I was ok, and I told her that I understand (even though I don't fully) and will be there if she needs to talk, she won't face me after she turned me into a complete and utter mess.
And then some of the people who I thought were my good friends never supported me throughout this whole thing. All they did was be a bunch a jealous jerks because they were scared I would stop hanging out with them. Then, when I try to tell them about how upset I am about what happened, they call me "grumpy"
I am in a very, "fuck everyone" mood right now.

I know what she's going through and like I said I helped her try to get through it. She told me several times how great it was that she had someone to talk to. I was happy because she was happy and I cared a lot for her. Then over the course of a few days she tells me she needs a break and I said I understood and then I asked if she wanted to talk and she basically told me to screw off. I really don't understand why she did this to me.

Thanks, man. If I can take one bit of solace in this situation, my veep told me today in person that if it was any other employee in this situation, the chance wouldn't even exist. So, I got that goin for me, which is nice.

Sounds exactly whats been happening to me lately. This is my first week off from school so I tell my manager I can take any shift from here on until the fall so I only get 2 shifts this week meanwhile, I had 4 shifts a week when i was in school. It makes no fucking sense, I might as well have said I still have school

I need a new job, I hate getting paid minumum wage and having to deal with fast food.

I know I'll be looking to get out of the food industry, I honestly hate having to be so nice to people who are wrong and don't understand portions. Why have I stayed so long at that hellhole of a job is beyond me. I just want something a bit less stinky and shitty.
