I do mine every day

Well, started new program on Monday, but it's been going well. Easy to follow, work outs take like 25 mins, and then I gotta do my nightly cardio. Pretty basic stuff

Got back into the pool the last couple days...testing out the new jammer. Did 1,000 yards like it was nothing. Until I did breastroke which kicked my ass.

I'm hoping that this thread will get me motivated. I started Weight Watchers with a friend from work but since then she's gotten pregnant and is not allowed to do it anymore. In the past year I've put on 30 pounds and I hate the way I look now. I really need to get motivated again.

my friends and i invented a game. its called marker ball. its floor hockey with markers instead of sticks. sounds juvenile, yes. basically, we smack the hell out of a plastic basketball, and try to put it into a goal you defend. the goals are 4 feet wide, by 2 feet tall. i built em. anyways, the game is hella tiring, and after an hour of it, you are just gassed. thats probably why i lost 1 pound in a 24 hour period. that, and an hour on wii fit and 300 crunches.

Here's something to inspire myself and hopefully some of you all to exercise. It is my sping break and I could just sit around all day if I wanted to today. I sure don't feel like exercising. But here's my inspirational tip for the day:

Very rarely do you ever regret exercising. You might not feel like doing it, but you pretty much always feel better after. Those things you want to do like have fatty food or that extra drink often make you feel worse after, not working out. So get moving at some point today folks!

I'm looking into the Quick Trim products to cleanse and jump start my ass. I've been doing a bit of research about the products and have found very few cons. I'm in a super depressed slump especially after this past week and losing the weight I've gained in the past few months will definitely help with that.

Lower body workout done today, upper body tomorrow. It's nice having a week off, if only my pesky job didn't get in the way of exercising. ;)

25 mins of cardio, 15 mins on the weights, and I'm done for the night...this program is no joke, but it's not lacking in results, lost a total of 15 pounds in 10 days...not too shabby

my weight loss is still going, but the pace is alot less then it was before. but then again, when you lose 23 pounds in 3 months, and you wernt really that huge to begin with, theres only so much weight you can lose.

I know all the skating I have done has made my thighs into a very definite shape.

and my shoulders are sore from shooting a puck yesterday.

i tried going to the gym today and it lasted all of 20 minutes (for the second time). according to my friend, what i was doing attributed to my short session. ill ask all of you and see what you think.

The first time i went i did the leg press (3 sets of 10 at like 190lb). went to an abdominal machine and did that (dont remember the weight but by the end of the last set i was feeling it little). i then went to the row machine and after those sets i developed a sever chest pain in the lower center of sternum. it felt like i took a straight up punch to the chest. i thought it was just because i was was pressing to hard against the pad on the machine that prevents you from going forward.

So i went again to and and did things a little different. still did the leg press (same weight and set) went to do the bench press. To be a cop in illinois you have to be able to bench 90% of your body weight one time. i wanted to see if i could. i tried it once and failed. i then went to just above my normal weight and attempted 3 sets of 10 at 130lbs. i got about 2.5 sets done before my arms died. after that i went and decided to run a little. i got .33 of a mile before my chest starting hurting again. i stopped and tried to walk it off. the pain got worse, i started getting dizzy and slightly nauseous. i sat down and tried to catch my breath. after 5 minutes of sitting there and not getting much better i made my way outside hoping fresh air would help. i was out there another 5 minutes before i was okay enough to drive home.

i know that im not in the best of shape and i have horrible cardio. but i was always able to lift and run without this sharp shooting pain in my chest. my friend said that i should have started with cardio to warm everything up then go from there. i looked up my symptoms what fit best was...i lost it. but it was essentially something were my heart isnt getting enough oxygen and the only remedies were rest or nitroglycerin (yea, i kno).

anyway, anyone have any ideas?
