Umm, no. She was more than just a pin-up girl, actually. A lot of her fans (myself included), see past the "Marilyn Monroe" image that Hollywood marketed her as. She never wanted to be made into a product, but that's what's come of her over the years. Underneath the sex symbol image that got her famous, she was a lovely, fragile woman that the people of Hollywood took advantage of and exposed and ultimately destroyed her.
