It's mind blowing to think that a top level ER physician doesn't even make as much as a fourth line bubble player that bounces back and forth from the NHL to the AHL. Society doesn't have its priorities straight.

An ER physician (teacher, police officer, fireman) doesn't have 17,000 paying fans to sit and watch his next surgery. Society has it right, unless you want to throw capitalism away.

One of my friends dads is an ER physician...trust me, they do alright.
