I was a party animal and a jock. But not in the popular crowd.
Let see, alot of you will get a kick out of this. But I failed 10th grade for not trying, aced the tests, but homework was taboo and oh, showing up to class apparantly affects your grade to.

I quite school 2 months into 11th and joined the military. Went and the GED thing.

School is critical, but you can't judge what would happen to you by me, I'm the CEO of a company now LOL.

I don't think I've changed at all really since high school, granted that was only two years ago haha. I was kind of a floater as I had a few different groups of friends that I would hang out with, but I had one main group of like 6 or 7 people that I hung out with the most and I still see that group of friends all the time. Actually all the friends that I was super close to in high school I still keep in touch with. Other than my really close friends, I had friends all over the school, was friendly with pretty much everyone, didn't have any enemies. I was quiet until I got to know somebody, then the true Mel came out. I was still the silly goofy person I am today.

Oh, I forgot, I got into one fight in high school. Kid was picking on my brother and I put his head into a school bus window. For being a big dude, I've always been the gentle giant type, especially now that I don't weigh 175 lbs anymore haha.

Kudos Phil.

I stood up for my sister also, even if we didn't get along all the time, no one was allowed to say things about her unless it was I or my very close friends and even they normally didn't.

I got real fed up with two people at a band practice by talking about her, they both stopped after they saw how pissed I was at them and such.

High school was fun for me, back in the day. A friend brought a keg to school in his trunk on the first day of school. There was almost always weed getting consumed every morning and lunch. I got along with jocks, freaks and the studious. I only took a total of 8.5 classes my last 2 years and graduated with 18 hours of college credit from AP exams. I was a decent student in terms of doing the work, but listening in class - really listening - was my best asset in terms of keeping the workload to a minimum.
I had an English teacher who was going on one day about us being the intellectual elite (her term). I laughed in her face exactly when she wheeled around to face the other side of the class. I couldn't control myself, but I was trying. She was so carried away with her speech she didn't even notice me, but everyone else in the class did and was trying to keep it together. She went into real estate the next year.
