Well I'm content with Sabres Junkie, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. But I also wouldn't be opposed to visiting the old boards and posting over there too. I already post over at HF Boards, so I don't see why I can't add another Sabres forum to the mix. Depending on how much traffic the old boards gets, Sabres Junkie will probably be my "main" board though.

Blech, after enjoying this place for so long now, I cant imagine a return to the venom-spewing denizens who still reside over there. Well...MAYBE if Ferret and Powerplayer were forced into a battle to the death using rusty spoons, and we all got to watch, then MAYBE i'd go back over there.

On second though, after sifting through the old boards this morning, I'm not going back. I guess I've taken something for granted; voicing my opinion and not being roped into a juvinille argument that is incredibly off topic. I forgot about that.

Well you must keep in mind that there has been 0 moderation over at the sabres boards for the better part of a year.
It's been the wild west and the biggest bullies and loudest voices now dominate.
One of the main reasons the mods gave up was over the lack of real moderation tools.

That BS would be stomped out immediately once the proper tools are made available.

There's no way this boards going to the shitter. I think everyone can be rest assured of that. I have avoided the other boards for many of the reasons that you all have. With the proper moderation tools in place, I can see the other boards becoming a much much better place. With that in mind, this is still my home, and I ain't movin (re: ice age). I will though, post over there as well, as long as all the hype about the changes comes to fruition.

Id also participate in the attempted resurrection of the old boards because even though this board is full of cool people, it is pretty well hidden and for new members it is hard to come by. The other boards is just a click from the Sabres.com website to join. Now this does create more potential ass hats and spammers but it does create more room for expansion.

It should also be said that it's not just the sabres making the change from Kickapps to IPS...it's every team and they'll continue to use the NHL unified login.
