I'd like to give it a try if you let noobs participate. I've never played fantasy sports, therefore I've no clue what to do, but it sounds like fun.
we'll let anyone play.
the general gist of fantasy sports is this. you are the manager (and slightly coach) of your team. when we do a live draft (if you choose to be apart of it) it works just like an actual draft. players get picked one at a time until all positions on your team are filled. anyone that isnt picked becomes a free agent. at points during the season if you dont want a player anymore or if you notice that a player is getting hot (Niemi for me last year) you can drop a player and pick up the desired player. you trade with other teams, put players on a "watch list" etc.
from the coaching side. you can pick what players play on which day. for example, I have Miller at G and the Sabres are off that day. If I have...say, Turco on my bench and the Hawks are playing, i switch them out. this is generally the more important part of doing fantasy because you cant get point if a player is benched.

Can't isn't the right word. Don't wanna is better. If I don't will it just auto pick for me? I dont have time to research with my schedule so I'll pick crap.
Yea, Yahoo will pick for you if you cant make it. Just make sure you set your Pre-Draft Rankings (if you dont like the Defaults)
