I wouldn't go that far; it's an easy and clean way to present information to an audience that remains easily editable (unlike if you were to use a series of images)...easier than a word processor, simply because it formats for the user; many people can't be bothered to learn how to insert things and edit page layouts or formats.

That would be said picture that I wanted in the background. I ended up follow NY's directions but I didn't watermark it because then it was too light and I couldn't adjust it. But it was nice to have the picture in the same spot and the same size on all the slides. I tried to take a screenshot today but it was on a Mac and I don't think it worked. I'll try again tomorrow

By the way, this is a biographical Spanish project. You could either decorate a bag with things about you, or make a Powerpoint of pictures of things about you. I felt that I had more pictures about me than things, so I made a Powerpoint. The end.
