Happy New Years all you Junkies.

Now, as for resolutions, my wife made me commit to rubbing one off ONLY twice a day, I think she feels the competition since I received that new Jergen's lotion (apple blueberry cented).......

All kidding put aside, it's been 2 days, 21 hours since my last cig. At 40 years old I made the commitment to quite smoking. I'll stick to it, but my intake of mary jane has gone up a tad.

That's right folks, Slesh parties, and parties hard. You'd understand if your a road whore such as myself. Just think, many of your power plants were built by pot heads such as myself .

I'm an old schooler, young enough to be in the know to some extent, yet old enough to be raised by the greatest generation. Which brings me to my 40th new year, and the Sabres as well.

I quit smoking (won't quite drinking though, fuck that), lost 37 lbs in the last year (now down to 207, was 176 not more than 2 years ago) and have taken up partial residence in the Avs fan house. Yes, you heard me correct, the Colorado Avalanche. Buffalo will always be my first team, but, since I'm heading out west to live, I wanted a team close to home to route for, so, the Avs got me. Not like they're bragging about it or anything (I shall endeavour to trade their goaltender as well Squanto ).

So, here's to good times this year, both young and old alike. May the Sabres find the path to success, may your balls never itch on a dinner date with no table cloth and may your buzz never die.........
