also, adam mentioned LTE and how many people it reaches. 1/3 of the country is in LTE range, as of now, according to verizon.

Because in 2004, I bought 44 shares of Apple at 44 dollars a share... right after they had their split.

No way of knowing, but the fact that it's on verizon is good news for you.

Verizon phones use the same chips as Spring phones, so it's 1 step closer.

Same radios, but the phones aren't always interchangeable. They run on completely different frequencies.

Waiting to see some clarification on this, but I was intrigued.

11:17AM $199 for the 16GB, $299 for 32GB -- mobile hotspot included! Up to 5 devices.

If they're offering unlimited data AND mobile hotspot with every VZ iPhone, that's a winner for me.

Should be interesting. Now that Apple's handset is offered on more than just 1 network, I expect to see them take quite a bit more marketshare.

Apple will get a slight bump and AT&T will see a mass exodus.

I don't believe that. I know quite a few people who have always wanted the iPhone but said they'd never be able to deal with AT&T.

Then you've got kids who's parents wouldn't move them away from family plans just so they could have the iPhone.

This isn't going to be a modest jump. This is going to be a pretty sizable jump.

Welp...looks like I've got a decision to make come my upgrade date (and my re-employment, heh): stick with Android (and my widgets!) or jump to iOS for the polish and gaming.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go ahead and call bullshit on that.
Asserting their market share is going to go from 19% to potentially 52% (19% + 33%) because their device is available on an alternate network is ludicrous.
