You sound like my sociology professor last year.... Everything was always some deep rooted problem. He was so pretentious about the music he listened to, and I told him how I got a lot of my musical tastes from listening to music in the car while driving with my dad when I was young, and he was like ,"Oooh...so interesting that it was your father rather than your mother!" Umm, Ok.

I just think if your hands are going to be touching your nether regions, you should wash your hands afterwords, a-thank you...

I'd say that flushing the urinal/toilet is more of the reason I wash my hands afterward. I don't feel the same need to wash my hands if the urinal automatically flushes, for example.

Not nearly as much as I probably should.

Don't judge me.

I do. It's more out of habit than anything else. When I cooked at Wegmans I got into the habit. At Citi they are so afraid of the swine flu coming back to our building they have signs around everywhere. I really don't do it because I think I'm being healthier. I just do it because I've had to for so long.

The funny thing is...when I leave the bathroom and go back to my laminar flow hood to work, I sterilize my hands with anywhere between 70-90% Ethyl alcohol. I work in plant transformation, using sterile tissue culture to cultivate plants. If my hands/forearms arent completely clean, my experiments are fucked...and eventually i'd be fired. Yet I still wash my hands after taking a piss where I DONT splash any on my hands, and THEN go fucking STERILIZE my hands. Yet if I didnt wash, people would think i'm some dirty germ lovin bastard.

What if youre dunk and piss on your foot? Take shoes and socks off and wash your feet?
