The pic with the guys t-shirt with a dick on it with a piggybacked kid is the best

This is quite honestly the best site EVER.

As for the whole 'making a child' comment............If I may I'd like to make a suggestion................'RAISE a kid then you can have an opinion' is how I feel that should read. I say this beacuse I dont RAISE my daughter in NY. I support her, I told to her mom, I see her when I am home, but within reason, what mom does is what mom does.

That makes no sense. ALL parents dress their young children based on what they think looks cute, regardless of what style it is.

Opinions are opinions, but IMO, to each their own. I have my own opinions on certain garments and what parents do with their children, but I respect that each person _is_ different, and couldn't care less. Relating to this thread and the two children.. The only experience with children I have are through my fiancee when she babysits her two cousins, but one thing I know through that is her two little cousins would dress up in anything like that. I personally think kids dig that stuff because it makes them different, and they'll take that as a one up over their friends. Girls will show it off, boys will act all cool, it's just the way it is.

to a point, yeah, but at some point, it becomes too extreme. i simply think a 3 or a 4 year old decked out in sturgis bike week gear is a bit much at that age, as is a full out gothic ensemble.

people have different agendas, and thats mine. i just think thats way too extreme.

if the kid was dressed with a swastika t-shirt on, everyone would be in arms about it. while this isnt as extreme as that example, my point is that everyone has lines, and mine maybe somewhat shorter then others.

Pfftt...that isn't a fair comparison to make at all, you should know that.

...or dressed up in full hockey gear with their face painted and wearing team color wig...
right?
I mean that's just a crazy thing to do to a CHILD!!

Here's the lesson: If you're not a parent, you're not allowed to vocalize your opinion on parenting. It will invariably piss people off.
That may not be fair, but it's reality.
My best friend made me want to punch him a couple times with unsolicited advice before he had his first kid. Now that he's a father, he minds his own business.

i dont give opinions how others should raise their kids, i merely have my own opinions on how i will raise my kids.

and its a fair comparison, caro, to a point. a neo nazi supporter may think thats totally acceptable, while you may not. a gothic supporter may think thats totally acceptable, while i may not. everyone draws their own line, and thats mine. thats not to say im going to be the most closeminded parent ever, likely the opposite. life is a series of trial and error.

posting pictures from that site do nothing but judge others parenting skills that we may think is outlandish, otherwise, cross, you would have to admit your own error by bringing this site to peoples attentions to comment on that dont have children. there was no "no comments by non parents allowed" tag, i am completely in the right to comment on a picture thats posted.

yes, but that should go most ways. you aren't congressman...etc. if the world worked like that forums would just be online classrooms, because one person would teach everyone else what they know. how many of us have anything really in common outside of the sabres?

Some of those are... interesting... and not the choice I would make when I'm a parent. I won't point out anything in particular, because I don't want to offend anyone.

I do want to say, though, that maybe this is a lesson for all of us to stop and think before we criticize someone based on outward appearance. Sometimes we can dish it out, but sometimes we can't handle when it's dished out to us.

The only thing I object to is when parents whore up their little girls like JonBenet Ramsey, and parade them around in kiddie beauty pageants.

Well, you actually did.

You didn't say "my kid" you said "your kid".
Whatever though, this has been beaten to death.

You cut out the part where I said it may not be fair but it's reality.
I'm merely stating a truth, not defending it.
(However, we're all allowed to have opinions on congress since they work for us and are supposed to represent us.)

I don't offer opinions on how to raise llamas or the best way to peel a plantain. However, I do have experience with brewing beer, computers and raising children.
meh.
