Ferret needs to come to another meet and greet and be reminded that he's throwing hate at actual people and not pictures on a screen. Often, I don't think he understands that.

i really have no issues with ferret except hes just so damn confrontational (I KNOW! I KNOW!) and wont let up. i really actually think hes a decent dude most of the time, but our politics dont line up, which is fine, but other opinions are welcome. he doesnt accept that, and thats where i have the beef with him.

HT on the other hand is just downright vile and disgusting, and i refuse to let him walk all over people anymore. text on a screen or not, there is a point.

i have alot of time, and plenty of ammo.

Scott said 'a couple weeks'. Then again, when they switched to KickApps 'a couple weeks' meant 4 months.

They're pretty far along with the system though, seems like they just have some aesthetic changes to make, and whatever database migrations that they need to do. XC already asked them to change the color scheme on posts, and they did that yesterday. It's close to whats here, white text on blue background, but the blue is a bit lighter. They've got a couple spots to clean up, and have to fix quotes boxes still, since that ends up being white on white. It really does look nice.

The Chimp can be a long story, but basically he was permabanned before the change to KickApps. He was going out of his way to cause trouble, and constantly insulting folks, especially mods. He would do something to earn a timeout, then create an alternate account to bitch and moan about the timeout. It got to be so constant we had to get Scott involved to prevent him from registering any more.

Kinda sucks, because he's similar to HT in a way. Had good hockey opinions, just couldn't seem to share them without calling someone a fucktard in the process.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. He worked for an internet provider in New Mexico, so he had plenty of IPs to choose from that wouldn't seem very obvious when he posted from a new one. He'd get everyone riled up on one account until he got close to being permabanned, then switch to the next one and play nice so nobody would be suspicious.

I eventually scripted something to check all his IPs on all posts from the suspect accounts, and tracked them all back to his place of employment and college, so that's how we really figured it all out.

(I spent way too much time on that...)

HT is OmegaMan , maybe Hal. I didn't dig too much, because we don't have all the old records available, and the search function on KickApps sucks cock.

I never minded Chimp. Outside of one thread, I don't remember him being much of a dick unless egged on or egging on Ferret/ETC.
