No, I'm not an architect, perhaps I should have been. I defnitely have an interest in it. I think I more prefer room design than the design of a house as a whole. I know there is a lot more to architecture than setting up a floorplan and designing rooms. |

I fucking love nooks. I would love to have a sleeping nook like that first one. And I agree with atl... those dark wood floors look awesome. |

I use stumbleupon with firefox, and I always "like" when it gives me any architecture or interior design stuff so it spits them at me pretty often. I go on the Parade of Homes here every year where people can tour 8-10 new houses, usually $250,000 and up houses. And I always pay attention to room design and layout. Some are awful, TVs too low, poor furniture setups, haha. Every room in my family's house was laid out by me. |

i had a sleeping nook in my first house, ironically. the wall was a huge window. it got cold, so i used it as a place for my tv and got a regular bed. |
