The ETC family will be loading up the truckster and driving up to Clearwater Beach first thing tomorrow morning to spend Thanksgiving weekend with Momma ETC. Tonight I'll be making the turkey, stuffing and gravy, Mrs. ETC will be doing up the green bean casserole, sweet potato pie and punkin pie, while Momma ETC will be taking care of the mashed potatoes and salad.

It's about a 4 hour drive from Boca up to Clearwater, so I figure if we're on the road at around 8:30am we should arrive by 12:30ish. We eat on the late side, so we'll plan on having everything set to go for roughly a 5pm Thanksgiving meal.

So, to summarize, there will be an abundance of shitty football, cocktails, kids playing with grandma...and, of course, some epic gluttony. Definitely my favorite American holiday!

What are your plans?

A very large portion of my extended family is heading up to my parents house for thanksgiving tomorrow.

We all live within a half hour of each other, so it makes holidays very easy.

Typically, my uncle and I bet on the football game that day (I usually take all of his money), and my brother and I play some mini hockey with our 11 and 8 year old cousins.

Oh, and there's a lot of food, too.

Going home today and eating dinner at my grandparents' house tomorrow night. Thankfully it's not Christmas Eve; they have the entire extended family over then... Too many cousins and second-cousins and I don't even know what.

Parents, sister and niece traveled over the river and through the woods to enjoy Thanksgiving here in the Commonwealth. Unfortunately three in my household are having a healthy serving a swine...flu that it is for Thanksgiving. Luckily, the above stated family had their shots just for this occasion.

The Indian food was delicious. Joshua had some mild chicken tikka and loved it. We had mango milkshakes for dessert. It was a phenomenal non-traditional dinner, and we had a blast.

He's from Michigan. Makes enough sense for me.

My Bills are terrible, but I'm a WNY native so of course I cheer for them.

I'm talkin' football, specifically, mang.

Most fans of teams are loyal to their regional team.
