That.....is more work than wandering through the snow covered forest and cutting down a real one with a herring. |

I may be strange, but the thought of an ammo tree just gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling |

Well I thought that is a cool idea, you won't have to worry about pine needles all over your carpet, and XC, since when is snow and forest in socal? |

Quite the project. I remember when I was a kid I used to make paper chains out of green and red construction paper, and every day you would remove a link from the chain to count down the days till Christmas. I should do that again... I miss doing all those little crafts for the holidays. Like covering a pine cone with glue and glitter and making it an ornament. Or making snowflakes out of paper and glitter. Or making snowmen with paper plates and cotton balls. Ahh, simpler times... |

Pfft...I may live in a desert, but I can be surfing in 30 minutes (Santa Monica or Malibu) or skiing in 2 hours (Big Bear or Mamouth) ![]() ![]() If someone were ambitious enough and wanted to prove a point, you could probably do both in the same day /ok, I'll stop rubbing it in |

It's the same in Australia, you can go surfing in the morning and skiing at night. I forgot about the mountains in socal though. I just wish it would get cold enough where I could make myself a backyard, well front yard rink. Why did I not care too much about hockey when I lived in the North? |

Thats awesome, I would totally do that, but thats a lot of pop to drink, and a lot of work, I would hate to take that down... it would totally suck! |
