Just read a short story, The Yellow Wallpaper. It is about creepers...they creep behind the wallpaper. The narrator is locked in a room and starts to imagine these creepers.....it's actually about the women's rights movement at the turn of the century. the narrator wants to break out of the female mold and her expected role, but she must hide her feelings and desires until one day the creepers will escape.
