psych! I just bought a new guitar today, and I'm super excited about it. I came down to buffalo to the guitar center this afternoon, and picked out this beaut: ![]() It's a 2008 Fender Deluxe Stratocaster, made of Ash Post pics of your instruments / children! |

On the front page, all that was visible of the title was "Pants has become a father," and I was all WHAAAAT????? These are some beautiful guitars. No Taylor love yet, I see. |

Thank you very much pants! It's actually an Ibanez believe it or not. They aren't really known for their acoustic guitars, but this one is a joy to play. It's not a great guitar for playing without equipment because it's pretty quiet, but it has a direct line plug and a patch plug. When I use the direct line and plug it into the PA, the sound is incredible. A very nice guitar for the money. EDIT: For the record also, that SG is great to play too. You wouldn't believe how light it is. You barely feel it. Very, very playable on solos and riffs. |

My fender acoustic is pretty cheap and the action shows it... I rarely play my acoustic Ive never got my hands on an SG, but the guitar center in tonawanda seemed to have 5 of everything. I could have spent a long time in there just trying everything out... And everything was on sale this week for a lot less than musiciansfriend.com which was surprising When I was looking for my LP, I noticed that some of the new LP standards are showing off chambered bodies to lighten them up... I don't know how much I liked that idea, the tone wasn't all "there" |

That thing is just stupidly heavy, but my god does it play... |
