Originally this was going to be a famous people with no talent, but I decided to make it a bit nicer.

I don't get the appeal of Mariah Carey. I've never found her particularly pleasant to listen to, nor any of her songs particularly profound.

I have to agree with you on that.

That comedian ventriloquist who was just given his own show. Not a funny thing has ever come out of his mouth, visible or not.

I just realized that the reason there is very little musical diversity in the mainstream is that there are basically three people who produce every album.

The different albums are the ones where the singers themselves not only write their own songs, the melodies and lyrics, but work to give them backbones and co-produce or fully produce them themselves.

Yeeeaaaah.

This has nothing to do with anything, but it still seemed appropriate for this thread.

the appeal is some super romantic guy who says and does all the right things. every girl wants that guy. but heres the catch, those guys are "nice guys" and we never make the cut, just are good friends. bitches need to open up their eyes.

these books and subsequent movies made our work to get womens that much harder, as some fictional asshole has raised expectations.

I miss the day where musicians made music, not this shit now where producers make 'musicians'. People started bands because they had the same musical interests. Now, you just toss an ad in the paper for an attractive teenager or two, make sure they can dance, and their voice sounds good AutoTuned. Ghostwrite lyrics, choreograph complex dance moves that nobody could possibly sing to, and start printing records.

Sad.
