it hit 47 in key west. 47! my sister, 50 miles north of miami, reported back that she saw "flurries.." how crazy is this that! (keep in mind that you can experience snow at 45 degrees, given the aloft air is much cooler then that)

So if even Florida isn't safe, I guess SoCal is the last refuge of nice weather.

Where I am.....
Partly Cloudy
73°F
Feels Like
73°F

/I'm wearing shorts :)

That's pretty nice.

But I love the smell of winter in the Adirondacks. There's nothing better than stepping outside for a breath of that fresh cold air.

Actually, spring is the season I dislike the most.

Wildly unpredictable weather and temperatures, plus wet and muddy terrain from all the snow melting.

Pain in the ass.

The other day the freezing line was in Florida.

Like Wednesday morning it was suppose to get down to 13 degrees, and warm up to about 35 or so by midday.

Bare in mind this is also in North Carolina where it normally doesn't get this cold, especially this early in January. Or hasn't in a few years.

Haha, the only thing I'm jealous about is I can't make my yard an ice skating rink.

I actually am glad it's not that cold, but do wish I could make ice on my yard.

Amen to that, the dogs get walked/ran every day, and the muddy springtime is the worst part of the year - can't live without seeing the leaves change color or a couple ice fishing trips in the winter, but spring sucks for me.

It was -16 F yesterday morning, and -6 F this morning, but the high is supposed to reach 39 F tomorrow - Pass the tanning butter please!!

Is it very warm in Buffalo at all? It's the same damn thing we have been having for years.
