My friend and I were talking last night about people complaining that some airport security measures may image their genitals, etc, putting them on a screen for TSA and Homeland Security folks to look at. What's your opinion?

I honestly haven't decided yet.

It's pretty simple to me. If you're that self conscious that you don't believe the TSA can perform a job professionally and there's going to be some creep distributing unidentifyable pictures of your privates, then you might want to overcome that before getting in a steel tube that's going to be 6-10 miles above the Earth traveling 300+mph.

Image me all you want, share pictures of my angry inch, I don't care. Keep my flights safe.

I'm all for dogs doing their little sniff tests and so on and so forth... I do not care. All it takes is whatever it takes. If you can't accept the purported "invasion of privacy", then don't fly. We're the country with the most freedoms, including the freedom to not walk your happy ass into an airport and then turn around and bitch about your privacy.

That's like asking if voluntarily having a physical done is an invasion of privacy.

I'm not sure what to believe though, because some people and groups say they store images, and others say they don't.

We haven't had privacy in years, so does it really matter?

I don't care if they store them, honestly. So log as they're kept internal. For the most part, there's nothing identifying on them anyways (unless you're flagged for something, in which case I'm sure they build a whole portfolio about your incident).

I don't care about my junk.

But if some ass hole gets to look at and has the ability to store and recall my girlfriend's prized possessions, that'll piss me off a little bit.

Or if I had a daughter some day.

Then don't fly; it's that simple. If you're that self conscious, like my previous posts said, you've got other issues to work out before you jettison yourself through the lower atmosphere.
