Well as it looks like not many people can figure it out, I'll make a little tutorial on how to make the flash embedding work for youtube links.

1. First take any old youtube link, I'm going to use a video of a guy playing Mr. Crowley on guitar for this example.

That is the link I'm using, notice the ending of the link where the video ID is and how it changes.

2. Next you take that same link and put the Flash code around it like this:


3. Well the link needs to be editted so the code will work properly:

What you do with the original link is remove the ? and the =, then you need to put slashes around the v, like so /v/

4. Not done yet, you need to make the video a size you want it to be on the forum, most videos are 425x344 so that is what we will use, right after the Flash= you input the size 425,344.


5. Well now you just post it up so we can all view the video you wanted to show us.



I hope this helps, because it isn't a straight forward way to show you what needs to be done.

I just copied the URL from the vidoe and pasted it. I highlited it an clicked on our URL icon. Video is posted - and seems to work.....
