Ah yes folks,

It is time to say fare-the-well to my birthplace. Although visits to the family will be in order, I'm outta here.
Always will be a Sabres and Bills fan, but Colorado is calling.

When I get the new house I will no doubt, set up my Rec room in WNY fashion, plastering it with Sabres material. Center Ice will have to do. I think I will go to one last game before I depart. Not sure which one, but most likely in Feb. prior to the break.

Trust this 20+ year ex-Buffalonian: You can take the man out of Buffalo, but you can never take the Buffalo out of the man. Your heart will stay behind, even though the rest of your world is moving on to (hopefully) greener pastures.

That's the truth right there.
I've been in California for 11 years and for some reason I'm compelled to run a Sabres message board.
Being from Buffalo is a sickness I tell ya ;)

Relocated my company, New York just not very business friendly I'm afraid. Colorado is centrally located between the midwest states where wind power is taking off and the southwest where solar is getting its footing. Just a smart move for tax reasons as well as location for my business. Renewable Energy.

LOL, I still be on the site Howie, the Sabres will always have my support (even if its negative Squanto, :P )
I am looking into opening a Buffalo Wild Wings in Colorado Springs. The wife likes the idea and with the AF Academy there could turn out to be a little cash cow.

EDIT: Yes, I realize there is already a Buffalo Wild Wings by the AFA, but Ft. Carson is down the road aways and the AFB is as well. A colleague of mine says the one by the Academy is always packed, there should be plenty of room for one more sports bar with good wings there.

Slesh,

Don't forget your neighbor to the north!!

I usually try to attend any games that the Sabres play in the Pepsi center in Denver. Drop me a pm, and let me know where you will be - we also attend infrequent Av's games on a whim.

Best of luck in CO, and let me know if you need any info on Wyoming renewable's!!

I've been out here since "80", and still bleed blue cheese and Anchor Bar sauce!! :D

You in Cheyene Wyohomeboy?

There is a chance NPPD is interested in a western NE. windfarm. One of the first things I am going to do when I arrive in Denver is pick up my business partner and we are headed that way to investigate land availability. I'll drop you a line as soon as I am on the move.

Best of luck to you and your family Slesh. Seems like a sound decision and I'm sure you'll love it and prosper out there. You can never take the Buffalonian out of a Gal either.

You should arrange a meet-n-goodbye-greet before you leave.
