Is there anywhere that I can find videos of old Sabres games from the 70's and 80's? I've tried youtube, but they don't really have that much. |

Ask Ferret. He has thousands of old games on tape. |

yeah that's going to be tricky....VCR's weren't in wide use until the mid-80's or so, and even then you'd have to know someone sitting on all those tapes. |

Unless someone made a real effort to preseve the old tapes, they're probably not in very good condition. I would doubt there's much of anything - outside of what we've seen - that is of much use, quite honestly. Such a shame; I could watch players like Gil Perreault and Bobby Orr endlessly. |

His political views perhaps not so much...... |

There is a DVD copy of the 1989 - BUFFALO SABRES vs. Soviet RED ARMY Game on eBay for $10.00. Not much, but there you go. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=buffal ... &_osacat=0 Years ago I bought the '93 Buffalo Bills-Houston Oilers wildcard game on VHS from a guy on eBay who had recorded it. I think eBay has cracked down on that kind of thing, or maybe people just don't offer the bootleg stuff anymore. |
