| Post subject: | Ham's Beer Review - Samuel Adams Noble Pils |
Trying out the third of six beers from the Samuel Adams Brewmaster collection. This one is very hoppy. Light, crisp at first, it has a powerful finish you don't really get when you first drink. The label talks about "citrus hop", but I don't really taste anything citrus. Drinking this one, I can close my eyes and picture the flowery, oily hops. Not bad, but I might like the taste balanced by some other flavors. I like more hops than most commercial brews, but this might be a bit more than I'm ready for. Ham |
