So as many of you know I've been working on a 40th anniversary Sabres picture for a while and its nearing completion. To get a feel of how well i have done im going to need your help.

I would like you guys to name off the players in the poster. if i did a good job, it should be quick. if i fucked up, well it will take a long time.

It was a good guess...I saw a guy in an ancient sweater wearing a helmet, and I distinctly remember seeing a ton of pics of him being one of the first Sabre players to wear a helmet. Plus, he's a retired number

Well, I knew it was either Schony or Horton (big brown hair, manly jaw) so I took a shot at going for all six retired numbers. Once you said it wasn't Horton, I knew it was Schony.

And I credit CV about Edwards.

i felt like i needed more of the current crop of players (outside of miller) to really get the range of years that i felt necessary.

in original sketches i had Horton, Housley, Andreychuk, Korab, Imlach, etc. i went through a lot of players.
