Thank you all for the intro. I have been introduced to the boards, un-officially, by none other than AudSabres himself. He's warned me of the goings-on and obscene photos.... so I will not be alarmed. OK, so I will PROBABLY not be alarmed. I was a sailor for 4 years, so that would be a hard feat to accomplish.
The fact that tonight is against Ottawa is going to be epic. My old team, the Habs, lost Kovalev to the Sens (not that it was a HUGE lost - he only shows up to play once a month).... and of course, they have the dirties.... Rutuu and Neil.
Q: "What do the Ottawa Senators and the Titanic have in common?"
A: "They both look good until they hit the ice"
So thank you for the welcome's.... Countdown to puck drop. Myers for President ....and of course... Kill Ottawa...

ok, ok... so hopefully I have not jinxed the team, and Myers, since joining the SabreJunkies :S One more month until we depart Nova Scotia for our Buffalo road trip!!! Bring on Dallas, the French Connection, and Minnisota!

Hrmmm, You might be onto something here with this whole "Jinx" thing.
The last two games, we've lost to teams wearing red, black and silver. You are wearing these colors in your avi. I vote, updated pic with current colors in hopes this does not happen again tonight!

I still have my Habs shirts, jerseys, memorbilia, etc.... and will probably never get rid of them. It was a tradition passed on by my grandfather, who has since passed away. The Montreal Canadiens games are mostly broadcasted on RDS, which is NOT apart of our NHL package. I found myself watching more and more Sabres games and not even knowing when the Habs were playing next (due to the fact that we probably didn't get the game anyway!).... a slow conversion started taking place. I found myself constantly wearing Don's (AudSabres') Pommer more and more... and the dust is still collecting on my Camallari jersey  .....and I am still pissed off at myself for NOT going over and talking to Kirk Muller.... yet I was pushing and shoving to meet the Sabres. hummmm.....
Anywho, should be an interesting time in Buffalo next month. My first live game as a Sabres fan. Should be epic. AND to get to meet the French Connection! I am beginning to think I am more excited than Don is... lol.

ok... ok.... when I get home from work tomorrow I will try and find another one. After LAST night's game... I am even more convinced that I am the jinx to the team. Common.... the Blue Jackets?!?!!?!!? WTF!!!!!!!

Common now. I am used to a losing team  If the Habs were any good, do you think I'd be abandoning them?
