Preview looks pretty sick. Is this movie based on something? Is that a video game or comic or something, or is this an original script? |

Wholly original script...although it pretty much sounds like they just re-tooled the original Tron's concept. But seriously, WHO GIVES A SHIT? TRON IS BACK! |

(if you haven't, you need to punch yourself, watch it, then come back and thank me It was a groundbreaking film. The first major film to extensively use computer graphics. The oooo and ahhh factor in 1982 was off the charts. This new story seems to revolve around Flynn's (Jeff Bridges) son going inside the software/machine to find his Dad who's presumably been the MCP or equivalent since the original movie. |

Adam, right now - I mean, RIGHT NOW! - drive to your nearest Best Buy, FYE, whatever and buy (DO NOT RENT FIRST) Tron. |

I've got it on VHS, DVD, and instead of UMD, I have it at my fingertips in .AVI format. You can all bet your sweet bippies that all three generations of Kneitinger boys will be heading out to see this in IMAX3D on 12/17 (the older two generations will definitely be hitting the midnight premiere, too). |
