Might be a dumb question. But some of you guys have one of those animated ".gifs" as an avatar. How do you make them??? What do you need to do this??? |

The hard way is a frame by frame process with gif animation software. The easy way involves either free software or I believe there are even free sites that will convert a mpeg video to animated gif. Do a google search for "convert mpeg to animated gif" and you'll get pages of ways to do it. |

I print an image, pee on it, say an incantation, then scan it in. |

Thanks Crosscheck. Go figure. First "mpeg to gif" software file I download contains a fucking trojan. I think my Kaspersky caught it because it responded right away and deleted that fucking fuck of a file but I don't know for sure 'til the scan is finished. That crap is pissing me off. |

Photoshop can make them easily also, that would be a frame by frame deal, but if you want to take a clip and make a gif of it, just google search it for the converter. |

SUPER will convert a video to gif. It's freeware and actually quite good, although the download link is difficult to find on their site. |
