another note, does anyone have any good st. patricks day style music? (phil im looking at you) I've got flogging molly and dropkick murphy's lined up, any more suggestions? |

only early dropkick murphys will suffice. do or die, and the gangs all here. after that, dropkick murphys sold out, man. not really, but their shit was weaksauce. it also should be noted that many of the dropkick murphy members are indeed scottish. the tossers are pretty swell too. however, guinness is disgusted and should not be consumed by anyone. |

I'm totally behind any early Murphy's, although I won't rage against their newer stuff. |

well, in the early days, the murphys were just an old fashioned punk rock band, and occasionally they would toss in a hint of their irishness. but for the most part is was just old fashioned punk rock. then, down the road, they started throwing bagpipes in and harps and other shit into EVERY song, and it was like.. what is this, flogging molly lite? id also suggest the mighty mighty bosstones, because they are from boston as well, and well, i like em. |
