Question for the techies.... What would be involved in building a website ? specifically a poker site....How many people would it take ? How long ? How much ? and i am assuming I would need some technical guru's to maintain it also, huh ? |

It would probably take a whole lot of work and be rather expensive. Are you talking about gambling for real money? because if so you'd have to find colocation services offshore. But the software would be the easy part I'd imagine. Security and legal concerns would trump that. |

yes, i am talking about a poker site for real money....i only live a few hours from canada....so i was thinking of basing operations there as it is legal |

Then the first person you need to speak to is a lawyer  You would need to find developers and security people that have worked with online gaming before or have some knowledge of it. This would be a much bigger task than just setting up a web site...granted there would be a huge potential upside, the initial layout of startup cash would be significant. |
