"Can't we all just get along?"

After reading the drama in the "Junkie Members You've Met Personally" thread it's sad to see folks that I considered a second family ripped apart. Maybe it was a difference of opinion, maybe it was the booze, maybe it was an abuse of mod power, but what ever it was it makes posting here, at least for me not fun any more.
I think that now, with a baby on the way, would be a good time to step away from ALL Sabres message boards, even though I'm not that active anyhow.
The possibility of return, unlikely. :(

What's sad is people to a head here have requested the old guard to return, and the old guard has responded in kind by bashing each and every single one of us.

I don't post here very much, so I haven't commented on the "Schism". My unsolicited opinion is that this state of affairs is all very very silly, and not in a good way. The emotions were running high and regrettable things were said. So what! There's no reason for this to not have blown over by now. Sincere apologies were made and that should be enough.
Hell, you shoulda heard some of the things my stepmom and I said to each other back in the day. We've gotten along great ever since!

Mas o menos. That is what happened specifically in my case, anyway. :?

I'm just going to drop the whole thing at this point, though. It was never a big deal to me to begin with because my intent was not at all what I've been told (indirectly or otherwise) it was by certain people, and I hadn't really given it much thought till today when Squanto decided to clear the air and I felt compelled to respond; it's just been something a bit, uh, stupefying, and continuing it seems fruitless (I also don't want to stoop). I shut down in cases of extended conflict (which are incredibly rare of my life), anyway. In that way I'm very much more like a man than a woman haha.
