With all the negative going around here lately, I thought it would be nice to salute Squanto, SATW and Crosscheck (even if he serves more as an admin than a mod). I have always thought a good balance between several differing opinions and demographics is key, young/old, liberal/conservative, strict/laid back, etc. I think here we've done a good job of reaching and maintaining that balance. I feel like everyone is heard, and no one is undeservedly chastised or censored. |

Thanks CV, but not necessary. Modding around here isn't that difficult (for the most part :p ). We're just normal folks with an extra menu to look at. |

The mods suck, all they do is going around banhammering people for no reason. But when you got a big BAN Button to push, it is tempting. |

the ban button just gives the appearance of 'power' and 'authority'. A mom with the only set of car keys can accomplish the same thing--in different circumstances. |

On the contrary...things haven't been as negative for quite some time. After the Gold Medal game disaster and I'm not referring to Crosby's GWG well, that was like...one week of tension because of Schoney and Squanto having at it...but after that it feels like everythings been fine. Or maybe i'm just not tuned into the negativity at the moment. |

I think four is a solid number, with Crosscheck having admin duties, and being a tiebreaking vote if any major issues should occur. Crosscheck has done an admirable job with this board and has generally stepped back as a mod, I'm just a little leery of any one person having too much power.

fly would be a good choice. id do it, and i know people are saying "NO!" but you have to remember, as blunt as i am, i ALWAYS look at things from different perspectives. but again... long shot. |

I think you'd be all right as a mod. There's a few people here that would be. I'm starting to think that moderators should be random people with no interest in the Sabres whatsoever, who do not participate in posting. |
