Marty calls for a Buffalo 4-1 win. Sabres go up 2-0, then Boston later responds, but Buffalo nets one within two minutes and puts away an empty net to win the game. Recchi scores for Boston. Gaustad and Roy net one each, two goals go up on the powerplay. |

They think the issue with Vanek was his foot swelling. As it stands now, he could take off his skate and have his foot swell up too much to get it back in. |

Enroth might be a possibility. He was up working with our coaching staff right before the end of the regular season. Maybe they're trying to get him adjusted to our system and coaching staff because they're anticipating him being our backup next year. Who knows. I know it would be awesome for Marty to come back though. |

I'd love to have Marty back. With Miller playing the bulk of the games I'd rather have a veteran play the 10-15 backup games. I think it would be much better to have Enroth play all the games he can this early in his career. It would be good competition for him down there in Portland againsts Lamoureux, who has looked awesome since Enroth went down with his injury. |

Enroth still hasn't put together an entire good season. He was stoopid before he got hurt this year but struggled at the start. Until he shows some more consistency they won't bring him up. They have nothing but time with this kid. I think its safe to say Marty will be in Buffalo next year. |
