I know, probably not, but I can't help but get readdicted to the show. I'm watching through all the seasons I missed, and this season, Heroes vs. Villains has been one of the most entertaining ever.

I'm including a poll.

Epic, that should be the theme of survivor since it continues to become more and more bizzare and mind boggling.

I'm a fan by proxy. My other half is almost as into it as I am the Sabres. So just like she picks up a lot about hockey, so do I about Survivor.

Haven't seen tonight's yet though since it's not on here for an hour and a half. So I didn't even read your post, but I will later.

I didn't put any spoilers in it, I wouldn't do that :P

I dont like this "heroes vs Villians, fans vs favorites" stuff, for some reason I dont like seeing these people made into a celebrity. I'd like to see new people each time. That said i'm totally watching...and I cannot understand why Russell gets away with his little weasel routine. And holy shit, is Parvati's last name really Shallow? That would be too perfect.

Coming into this season I would have went Boston Rob, even after Russell's epic hidden immunity idol madness last season. After catching this season though, it is evident that Russel is the ultimate survivor villian.

I didn't use to watch survivor that much. But I've been suckered into the this season and all I know is this shit is rigged.

I don't know about rigged, but there is a pretty liberal amount of video editing done to increase the drama. Rigged is a bit far though.

My friends and I used to watch the first Survivor all the time, but that was back when it was the only 'reality' show on TV, and the concept was novel.

Now, EVERYTHING is a reality show, and we all know about the machinations behind the scenes to make the shows more interesting through conflict creation. Doesn't appeal to me.

I voted Amanda just because she's the hottest.

I don't think survivor needs to manufacture anything behind the scenes to create conflict, the game does a good enough job of that on its own. What they will do is video edit to make certain conflicts seem worse than others.

Amanda annoys the shit out of me. She puts on "sad weepy Amanda face" way too often. She did it in China and she's doing it now. She's made a science out of latching on to strong guys and not really doing anything herself.

I can kinda see what you mean, but the game is called Survivor, not impress the viewer. However she accomplishes it, lasting longer than others is the only thing that really matters in the end. At least she's never done something completely stupid like James getting voted out when he had two idols, or whoever that guy was who gave up individual immunity, then got voted out.

I think giving up individual immunity was the worst. A big DURRRR to that guy.

If you read Jeff Probst's blogs he brags about how hard his crew works to keep certain things on the down low, for example Heroes vs. Villians when JT handed the idol off to Russel. Jeff was proud to say they captured that moment on camera without alerting the others.
