Wakeboarding seems really hard... In the summer at my cousin's cottage at the lake people are always trying it, and it seems hard to pick it up when you first start. |

You'd be surprised. Most of the people I've taken wakeboarding have gotten up on their first try. Maneuvering is a little tricky for beginners. But I think wakeboarding is much easier to pick up than water skiing. |

I've tried both wake boarding and water skiing.....i think i got up and was skiing like my 2nd or 3rd try.....i was never able to get going at all though on the wake board.....i used to snow ski so maybe that helped |
