Well I'm sure this will help the national dialogue on immigration..... I approve of the Tarentino-esque levels of gore and violence though. |

It would be worth the laughs to watch it, except the wacky extremist holleywood element had to go and make a mockery of the illigal immigration issue for the plot...swell. |

The plot for this has been around for two years, for those of you who don't know. They're just poking fun at the Arizona thing because of the timeliness. |

I'll say good violence, weak or misguided premise. Was Cheech involved with production at all? He did that flick "Born in East LA" a long time ago that centered around legal / illegal immigration. |

True but I doubt Eli Roth meant anything by making a movie like this. It just screams A+ Mexsploitation, and I think that's what they were going for - god-awful, good-times 1970's pulp. |

The original trailer for Machete was played before Grindhouse, a film that poked fun at ridiculous, over the top, violent B-movies. This is more of the same, but driven by a different plot device taken to a comical extreme. That being said, this looks great, but I'd still like a feature film of Hobo With a Shotgun more. |

Damn awesome. |
