As any of you who read my last writing thread know, I finished my vampire novel (currently being reviewed by The L. Perkins Agency...woot!) and began writing Arnett Tanner Wants to Die, which I detailed before.
I have come up with several other ideas I may or may not pursue in the next few weeks (since work on ATWtD is a bit slow).
The Ideas:
A Thriller/Fantasy about a character who lives in two separate worlds. He goes to bed at night, and as soon as he falls asleep, he wakes up in the other. Even though it isn't possible, he spends a typical day (16 hrs or so awake, 8 hrs asleep) in both worlds, every "day." As time passes, some things begin to blur together and he starts to progressively insane. I'm not sure about the length, I think I would shoot for a shorter novel, around 50,000 words (roughly a 120-150 page paperback).

A Super Hero-esque story about two people who share thoughts. I think initially they are diagnosed as insane, but they come to realize that the voices they here are the cognitive thoughts of the other. They can share any information at will across any distance without any communication outside of thought. I might also make this a romance instead, the idea is kind of half baked right now, haha.
twins in southland tales?
