In addition to getting an e-mail read on the Colin Cowherd show, I have severely pissed off a good chunk of the city of Syracuse with this letter. http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/ ... _give.html It has been the #1 most commented article on Syracuse.com for a while and was discussed on Syracuse Sports Talk Radio. I find this to be awesome. |

The midpoint between Pittsburgh and Cleveland is Boardman Ohio. Truly a town with two distinct opinions on who they are loyal to. Mind you, I haven't been there in years, so who knows how things stand now...... |

Can I have your autograph? I felt so famous when I was on the local news once when I was eight. In Albany, New York. |

I was sorta on TV around the world during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I love how people are trying to say the Giants are a New York team when in reality, New Jersey is not New York. The Meadowlands are 15 minutes from New York at most. Such ignorant people there, no one knows anything about football and they are complete douches. |

I was quoted once in the Buffalo News for something I wrote here (and by here, I mean the sabres.com forums). |

Well, Alex, you just became a little more famous: http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/story/816176.html Quote: They might be Giants A letter from an aggrieved Buffalo Bills fan in Central New York generated a flurry of comments on the Post-Standard newspaper’s Web site this week. Alexander S. Bauer, who lives in the Syracuse suburb of Baldwinsville, complained that a local network affiliate aired a game involving the New York Giants instead of a Bills game. He noted Syracuse is 100 miles closer to Buffalo than it is to the Giants’ East Rutherford, N. J., home. “Fox General Manager Aaron Olander needs a geography lesson, and to stop letting his apparent Giants bias get in the way of his job. This is a Buffalo market,” sniffed Bauer. The letter had sparked 135 online responses as of Friday morning. “I haven’t met a Bills fan yet—what do they look like?” said a Giants backer. But we liked this fan’s take: “The Bills lost this weekend because their power comes from the hopes and dreams of their fans. Without our ability to watch the game on television, all hope is lost!” GO ALEX!!!!! |
