It's back on, and I fucking LOVE this show. Take your shots now, I don't care. This show is to me what American Idol is to 13 year old girls.

Last year pissed me off - I think the finals were rigged. Some hick that couldn't sing but had a better sob story won. The lady he was up against (whom, IIRC, overcame breast cancer) should have won (IMO). Choose for yourself:

The Hoff is always good for comic relief, but Sharon Osborne can DIAF. Can't stand her.

Otherwise the show's not half bad.

Sometimes I'm convinced it's an act, that he's THAT full of himself.

Other times, not so much.

I've never watched the show outside of youtube clips but I like the bits where some schmuck comes in, they roll their eyes and then they get blown away.

It was in yesterday's paper. And as a country artist, Skinner is very talented. I like his rendition of that song better than Garth Brooks's. His second performance kind of sucked.


The act I REALLY liked was the magician from last season. He was awesome.

Which one? There were two in the top 10 I believe. I thought the act with the little chick and her fat husband was cool, but they messed up when they stopped all the "she lifts the beast" routines.
