Hey all, I saw this posted over on HFBoards. It looks like DirecTV is giving discounts to some and free Center Ice to others. Call and complain about the dispute with VS and not being able to watch those games. Threaten to switch to another carrier and see if you can get a discount or a comp at the very least |

They gave me my Center Ice for free, and told me they were in negotiations with Versus. They did say i had been a customer for ten years, and that is why they were doing it.

Yeah, I've heard of a ton of people getting CI. The trick seems to be getting to the retention department (threaten to cancel if you need to). |

That was the stated purpose of my call, and other than waiting about five minutes to speak with a human, it was relatively painless. Schony, I had that money earmarked for a couple dozen fishing lures (walleye crankbaits ), but I might have to take the SO out for a few cocktails and a Sabres game on Versus, per your suggestion!!
