I know some of you just must be interested in local music right?

One of my friends from high school is in a band called Son of the Sun and they're having a record release party tonight at Nietzsche's for their new album The Happy Loss.

Last time I was there for an album release party (feels like every time I go is an album release party haha) was for Peanut Brittle Satellite's new jam in 2008 with Ramforinkus and Armcannon opening.

Dude, such a small world - I used to hang out with those guys all the time. I've known Shawn since the 7th grade! They're a killer band.
