I need to know about it so I learn what he didn't do to stop himself. If there are stress techniques or shit to keep me from killing mine I NEED to know that kind of info.

I think killing cats very slowly works the best.

I just wish there were a way, with cats, to know which ones will grow up to be nutcases that run away from nothing and don't let you pet them and which ones will be awesome. We had a nutcase cat named Henrietta until we moved when I was eleven and we gave her to my uncle lolol. I am pretty sure I never even touched her, and we got her as a kitten when I was three. But we also have had an awesome cat, Grant, who died last month. You never know.

I have three cats. The first two we got were kittens, sisters in fact and they are both nutcases. They only love me and they have deeply skittish, freaktard issues. Our third is super fat, lazy and thinks that hamstringing you at two am while your stumbling down a dark hallway to the bathroom is a great game. My husky is fucking great though, sweetest thing in the world.

Yeah, my cat Grant was awesome. We got him when I was seven. He was the runt of the litter, so small he could curl up and sleep in the palm of my mother's hand. We actually got him with his brother, Lee, who died two years later from a seizure. My father named them Grant and Lee after the Civil War generals lol. He was great, though. He was kind of like a sage or something, and I was always his favorite. He was fine when I was home for spring break, trying to take walks with me and the dog and everything, but he had cancer and went downhill pretty rapidly after that. He went from fine to having to be put down in a span of less than two weeks. I am glad I wasn't home to see that. :( I miss him, though.

Now we just have one cat and a dog. The cat's name is Pappitedo... My parents got her for me as a kitten when I was thirteen. She's sort of psycho, but tolerable. The dog is Jericho. I got him for my fifteenth birthday from the SPCA after begging for a dog every couple months for four years. He's basically the best dog in the world.

And my brother's hamster Rax, which he's had for about a year and a half now... I will be legitimately sad when he dies lol. Hopefully he stays around a couple more years. Hamsters are only supposed to live about two years, but I had one that lived to be four when I was a kid; I cried a lot when he died, which is actually hilarious in retrospect. Aaaand the goldfish, but they're just fish. They don't do anything.

Ugh cats...

Listen folks, Cats don't like us; they tolerate us. If they were any bigger like their wild cousins, they'd eat us.

They also merely tolerate each other for a month or two. It takes a cat forever to like another cat it wasn't raised with...

Dogs are objectively the better pet, anyway. They'll save your life if your house is on fire or someone breaks in, or they'll save the life of your kid by informing you that something is wrong. It's very rare that a cat does that, and they certainly don't do the last one ever haha.

we had to put our cat down in april, which really bothered me... anyways, our dog and cat always laid with each other in the sun.. to this day, the dog STILL searches for the cat to lay with. its really sad, that dog loved the cat.
