I currently use Demonoid and can return an invite code for this site to someone willing to do the same. I was wondering if anyone cann shoot me an invitation code to either of these sites. I recently paid $250 for a Business Law textbook, and $175 for a Managerial Communication textbook and I refuse to pay another 150 for a book I will use for a 6 week class this summer and get $30 for when I turn it back in. I heard these two sites are great for torrents and even offer some pdf format textbooks and was wondering if any of you are members?

Go to isohunt.com and they have free torrents that all work, well they gather all torrents from other sites into one collectible area. Try them out.

If you can, try to get a proxy so you can use the site from a different country, the stupid American laws made them change the sit format into a lite version search engine and I think outside of America it hasn't changed the site.

publicly available torrent sites are a complete crapshoot when it comes to quality, viruses etc.
I'm pretty sure that's why he's asking for invite sites specifically.

I'm a demonoid user too, sorry, I don't have invites to those other sites.

I've tried isohunt but I could not locate the text Im looking for and have found isohunt to be generally less than desirable compares to demonoid. I just heard bitme and torrentvault are more or less the same type of site as demonoid (no garbage/fake/virus infected torrents) users are banned for doing so and generally a more legit site all around.

I've never had problems with isohunt though Cross, it's a quality site that pulls torrents from every torrent site and puts it together. They have trackers that are green and ones which are red, avoid the red ones and you're fine.

I've used it plenty of times (I put pirate bay in the same general category), I'm just saying private torrent sites are better for several reasons.
There's a whole lot of BS on public torrents, whether you've run across it or not ;)

Thanks! I would also be willing to take any pdf of the book, word document or anything as low as the 9th and 8th editions if you could possibly locate it. It would save me about a $150 and I'd be willing to try and convince one of the lady members to make out with you!

It's a textbook called "Economic Development" 10th Edition by authors Michael Todaro & Stephen Smith....officially

Okay; I'll keep searching; I only spent about 20 minutes on it, and have some downtime tonight

Thanks a lot man. If you found something I'd be extremely happy. Working full-time and going to school full-time and still can't afford books when they come out with a new fucking edition every six months and still wanna charge people $150-$250 a pop.... I dropped almost $1200 on books last year and got about $175 TOTAL when I returned em....fuckin joke

WTF seriously? They were open this past weekend, I swear. I gave my bf an invite code and he's like I don't need this, registration is open and he was able to register without it.

Must have been a 4th of July special or something?
